Basic Needs are that band in Louisville right now. As far as getting in front of new kids on the road, putting on for their city, and writing music that is highly personal and generally relatable they are a testament to the human condition that hardcore appeals to. I got sent the first mix of this record I think and I was instantly bummed that it was not solely coming out on LDB but I was and am so proud of them for taking the initiative to put a record out themselves. This is the LDB exclusive variant of one of the best records to ever come out of Louisville.
